Bob JenningsRobert G. “Bob” Jennings loved watching birds and tasting beer. His bird life list was 668, while his beer list stands at 842. As director of Lakeside Nature Center of Kansas City, he started an outdoor education program. In 1977, he became the first director and continued for 25 years at Oxley Nature Center in Tulsa, OK. He wrote “From the Stump”, a collection of articles written for the Oxley Nature Center Newsletter. He co-authored the ‘classic’ Midwest Bird Guide among others.
